WSYC has 16 classrooms designed for developmentally appropriate, open-ended play. Classrooms are arranged in learning centers, including areas for Block Play, Dramatic Play, Art, Science, Writing, Math, and a quiet area for Reading and Rest. Materials are rotated frequently to match learning goals and student interests. Each classroom has a restroom and child-sized sinks for the encouragement of independence and health and hygiene skills. Snack, lunch, and nap happen daily in the classroom.
