Westminster School for Young Children is a special community, where childhood is celebrated, creativity is inspired, and learning is joyful. As an outreach ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church , we are honored to partner with families during the critical early years of a child’s life and are grateful for your desire to learn more about our program.

At Westminster School for Young Children, we are committed to offering a loving and nurturing environment for each of the nearly 300 children enrolled in our program. Our staff of more than 40 highly-trained teachers and staff members dedicate themselves to creating spaces full of joyful learning and creative play. In a society that is increasingly focused on achievement and technology, Westminster sets itself apart by emphasizing learning through play - a practice we have honored for over 75 years. We enjoy the use of three outdoor playgrounds, an outdoor classroom, extensive gardening areas, a full-size gym, and 16 thoughtfully-designed classrooms, as well as a dedicated space for daily music instruction. Our children enjoy a wealth of enrichment opportunities, including an esteemed music program and special programming throughout the year. Families are welcomed into a community that supports the parenting journey through fellowship, volunteer opportunities, and opportunities for parent education.
