Children in the 4s and 5s will have the opportunity once per week to practice Yoga and Mindfulness with a certified Yoga Ed. instructor. The intention of this evidence-based yoga curriculum is to plant the seeds for adaptive life skills through movement and play. Yoga has been shown to support emotional regulation in young children, as well as boosting their self esteem. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness in a noncompetitive manner.
